Last Tuesday, Zack and I went to the Deaton's for dinner. We had an AWESOME time! It was SO nice to get a chance to catch up with some of the rage alumni. We started dinner at about 7 and the fun and laughs lasted until about 10:30. We always have such a good time when we get together with that group, and it always makes me question why we don't do it more often. Jody made an amazing meal. She and Paul had grilled out hamburgers and Jody had made her world famous baked beans and one of her A-mazing tossed salads. She had even made her dressings from scratch! They tasted unbelievable. I forgot to get a picture of the meal in all of the excitement, but trust me, it was delicious! Jody had also made a dirt cake for dessert complete with worms and flowers! :)
During and after dinner, Skye kept us laughing with all of her stories and antics. She even read us her famous baby name list...just some last minute suggestions for our friends Jay and Karmen who are expecting a little girl due to arrive in August.
We had such a good time that I am looking forward to the next time that we all get the chance to hang out...hopefully it will be soon!!
